New Home!

It has been a long time coming! The doors of our new and improved home opened on October 11th at 201 Avenue B North, in the Caswell Hill neighborhood, one block off Idylwyld Drive. 

The need to move was imminent; on several occasions, both Chokecherry youth and staff expressed the need for a new space. Following a string of break-ins resulting in theft and property damage this past spring, we were informed of our landlord's intentions to sell the property and given a 3-month eviction notice. Despite these difficult circumstances, they gave us the push we needed to leave our old location.   

It is worth mentioning that this move wouldn't have been possible without the outpouring of community support we have received. We hope every donor and sponsor knows their contributions are being well utilized to renovate the new building and make this space functional for the youth and the programming and services needed. 

 With this new venture, there will be many exciting opportunities to come, and we can't wait to share them with all of you. Thank you for coming along the journey with us, and we look forward to welcoming you into our new home.
